D.2 Selecting the IR-X.21 Timing

IR-X.21 interface module supports two clock modes:

• EXT (External)

• INT/LBT (Internal/Receive).

Set the IR-X.21 clock to match the timing selected for the FOM-40 modem. The

clock settings are made using the JP2 jumper located on the IR-X.21 board, as

shown in Figure D-3.
